Our name, a blend of "Afro" representing our rich African heritage and "Gida," the Hausa word for home, perfectly encapsulates our mission: to bring a piece of home to you, wherever you are.

Founded by a team of passionate individuals who understand the craving for familiar tastes and the need for community connection, AfroGida was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between Africa and Southeast Asia. We saw a vibrant, growing African diaspora in Malaysia and recognized the opportunity to create a platform that not only provides access to beloved products but also fosters a sense of belonging and support.
